My wife and I were having trouble with our heating system. It would be constantly running and we had hot and cold spots throughout the house. Im on a slab with vaulted ceilings. Mike came out to inspect our furnace, and found that our heat exchanger had rivets that popped off and, as a result, was off-gassing CO, also known as the silent killer, into the surrounding area (verified by a gas monitor). Thankfully, for my wife and I, the CO had not yet made its way into our home (furnace is in garage). He immediately shut our system off and called out Tony, the residential service manager, to ease our minds by verifying our house was safe to stay in while we worked on replacing our old system. They even loaned us several space heaters to heat our home while they performed the installation of our new furnace and a/c over the next couple days. John and Spencer came over the next day and got to work immediately on the installation of the furnace. The following day, Spencer came back with Trevor and finished the installation of the a/c unit and smart thermostat. Now I have only a 2 difference between the furthest point away from the furnace, to the closest. Tony also submitted over $900 in rebates that I was eligible for. Everyone whom Ive been in contact and worked with at Area sheet metal has been extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend anyone who is in need of the services they offer, to look no further than Area for all of their HVAC needs.
