Never any staff and always an issue with the reservation. I dont plan on using Payless again. I had a reservation for suv for $430.44 after waiting in line about 15+ minutes while there were only 2 people in line before me the lady said theres no suv so Im getting a ford expedition. I added my dad as a driver and she said it would be $65. I said ok. Then my total came out to $523.80. I noticed and said why is that the total now? She just said it becuase of the $65. I can do simple math and that didnt add up but she didnt want to explain it and said everything was fine. I was in a rush to pick up my daughter so just left. The expedition was in 7/10 shape and just cost me more in gas. I recommend not using Payless.

If you enjoy getting ripped off, Payless is the place for you. I felt very unsafe in the car they gave me and was told I could return it. The franchise location I rented from refunded me my money back with no problems. I was told I'd need to call the corporate line to get any refund on my deposit. I was told several times that I would be receiving a refund, but never did. They won't respond or return calls as promised. Had I known I wouldn't have gotten my refund I would have done things differently. What a scam. A side note: I understand I'm rating the local franchise. The team there was very communicative and mostly helpful, but I'm rating a one star because of the company as a whole. No franchise is so great to overlook the unethical practices of a company as a whole.
