Owens Insurance Agency is the greatest company to work with if you're looking for insurance. Eric and Angie genuinely care about their clients, are easy to get ahold of and are super knowledgeable about what I needed.

By far the worst experience I have ever had. They allowed our flood insurance to lapse. I communicated with them via email and phone and they assured me that they would get it updated and the verification sent to our new mortgage lender. Fast forward 4 months, and we received an escrow statement showing we owe THOUSANDS more and now have to pay $400 more per month to get our escrow caught up... because my mortgage company NEVER had a new flood policy put in place and they had placed a lender placed flood policy that was SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive. Owen's Insurance agency said they had no record of our requests, however, I have multiple emails over the course of October-December that show my communication about the change and request to get our proof of coverage to our new mortgage lender. In an attempt to get new flood insurance and get the lender placed policy removed, Eric's Insurance gave me a quote. When I let them know that I thought we needed more coverage (via email), he just NEVER RESPONDED. I finally just had to find a new insurance agency completely. My new agent was able to give me more coverage on my auto, property, and flood insurance with lower premiums. Horrible experience and incredibly unprofessional communication. I'm not one to write reviews, but our experience was so atrocious that I felt that it was warranted and that others should know about our experience.
