WL landscaping & cleaning

I reached out to Wilmer because of his good reveiws and photos of some of his other projects on Yelp and I'm now wondering if he STOLE those photos. Because the way Wilmer left my front yard looking I almost passed out. He completely destroyed my flower bed by removing everything that had been growing for over 30 years he was told to ONLY remove the YUCCA plants he left my yard looking like a desert and had the nerve to not even rake the flower bed once it was destroyed considering he also claims to also do landscaping. They even removed plants that where not even in the flower bed. One thing good I can say is that he responded quickly and met with my husband to go over the yard work from front to back that needed to be done. He first quoted $900.00 to do this VERY BIG JOB but once he sent out the actual quote it was now $1300.00. Which we were willing and did pay because the mess was DONE and could not be UNDONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This landscaping company started of good but quickly went south! I had to reach out the this company multiple times to even set up an appt for a quote! When he finally could come to see my yard it was on a Sunday during church so my husband was home to meet with him! He texted me and told me he was on his way to my home, I communicated that to my husband! The landscaper texted again and said no one was out front.... I told him to KNOCK on the door as my husband was inside with our sick child. I guess he ended up leaving. When I got home my husband said the guy never came I told him he said he did! My husband said I never heard the door bell ring or a knock! When I reached out to the landscaper he confirmed that he doesn't knock or ring door bells (I have the in text)! HUH??? How do you do business like that??? Nonetheless, I attempted to set up another time when I would be at home and could wait outside until he arrived. He proceeded to tell me that the quote would be $30, unless I used him for my service. I immediately referred back to HIS policy and sites that says FREE estimates! He said well because of his time and in case I decided to go with someone else the quote would cost! I didn't read that policy (that he apparently made up on the spot) anywhere! This guy is unprofessional, unethical, and shouldn't even be allowed to be on Yelp! THIS IS A WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS LANDSCAPING SERVICE!!!

I reached out to Wilmer based on his incredible Yelp reviews. I was impressed by his responsiveness, but really struggled to effectively communicate with him. We were told he would come out Sunday to provide an estimate of the work. It was a super quick turnaround which was great, but no timeframe for the visit was provided. That was a bit frustrating because we couldn't go anywhere. They ended up arriving around 6 pm. We explained the work we needed done which was to remove dirt around trees/stumps that were removed so we could seed. He provided us with an estimate of $300-400 but said it might be more. I couldn't wrap my mind around this. He was looking at the job and should be able to provide an accurate quote. He said he would be out the next day to complete the job. I planned to work from home so I could get an update on the price before his team started. They didn't end up coming Monday due to the rain, which is understandable. I told him no one would be home Tuesday until after 4:30. He said no problem. On Tuesday I got a text that he has arrived mid-morning. I reminded him we would not be home until after 4:30. I didn't receive a reply so I called. He explained they already started the work! I asked what the price would be and he gave me a much higher price. I told him to stop and that we never agreed on that amount. He became very angry with me over the phone and wouldn't even let me speak. Ultimately he came back down to $400, but it was a super awkward thing to deal with on the phone while I was at work. Ultimately he completed the job, but I would not recommend this company on communication alone. I felt it was important to share this review as Yelp was the reason we contacted Wilmer in the first place.

The crew was great ! The did an outstanding job of cleaning up my yard and applying mulch in the areas I desired at the time . The owner formed a landscape arrangement in my front yard that is fantastic . I would highly recommend WL Landscaping.

Wilmer and his team were great! Our yard needed some trees and bushes removed, plus other shrubs and bushes trimmed. The team did all of that, along with other tasks of leveling an area of ground, laying garden soil & mulch, and adding decorative stone. Now, everything looks so fantastic and we truly appreciate the skill and speed of WL Landscaping and Cleaning! We highly recommend! Christine P
