Terrible company to work with. After my insurance company reached out to me because Absolute was not responding to them, I was told by Absolute that they don't typically work with insurance companies and expect me to be the middle man even though they are in a business that regularly will involve insurance claims. When a summary of charges was finally received, it had no details for insurance to verify charges. So it took even longer to get a detailed breakdown, at which time my insurance company caught them trying to pad the invoice with unnecessary charges. Even with the "necessary" charges, my insurance company called them out for charging more than considered reasonable. Absolute admitted to me that they know they are using rates higher than insurance would allow. Instead of adjusting to a reasonable level, that left me going out of pocket for the difference. Between taking weeks between responses and taking advantage of customers by overcharging during a difficult time, I would not recommend anyone use Absolute!

Absolute got someone to our house the next morning (a Saturday) after we discovered our dishwasher had leaked a ton of water. They got a dehu installed that Saturday afternoon, and had a crew lined up that evening to come by Monday afternoon and start tear down of all our damaged components. They then came back daily to make sure equipment was working, moisture was coming down and that the mold had been treated properly. From the time I first spoke with Absolute Restoration until the conclusion of doing business with them, they were top notch. They were efficient, reliable, knowledgeable and communicated with us every step of the way. We used them for water damages sustained from a frozen pipe that burst. Even though they were extremely busy, they were able to prioritize and get our job done in a timely manner. If we ever were to experience an unfortunate event again, they will ABSOLUTELY be our first call. Services: Water removal, Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Going through the process of mitigating and remediating damage to your home is very stressful. It's hard to trust that your insurance and your contractor will do right by you and not take advantage of a very confusing process. Absolute won our trust through their actions. Based on confusing language in our insurance estimate, we thought we were getting $5k more covered than what we ended up receiving. Absolute was similarly tripped up and set their contract under the assumption we would be receiving that money. When that ended up being wrong, Absolute decided to eat the cost rather than charge us an extra $5k out of pocket. I doubt all contractors would have done the same. They could have blamed us for not catching the mistake, but their Director of Operations said their reputation was more important than the money. Our review is for four stars because there were some issues with cadence of communication as well as some issues with work quality (that they corrected on follow up). But the headline we want to emphasize is that Absolute is trustworthy contracting group that treated us like human beings through some very stressful circumstances. Worked with Absolute Restoration on a house fire mitigation project of my single family Indianapolis home. This job was a very specific and individualized self-pay situation and Absolute was both helpful and professional and worked with me in steps to assure me of financial ability to complete mitigation and allow me to get to the next step of restoring my home. Logan the director of operations came to my home and assessed the damage, worked with me on overall cost, and made sure the job was done correctly each step of the way. Absolute beat out several competitors in both price and overall thoroughness when setting up and finishing the project. When mitigation was finished Bobby, the lead estimator, was present for final walkthrough and answered all of my questions and concerns while giving me guidance for future steps of renovation. After mitigation there was not even the faintest odor of fire, smoke or soot present in my home. There was a small mishap during cleanup and Logan was responsive and helpful in resolving the situation quickly amidst a busy schedule. I absolutely recommend Absolute Restoration.
