Lyons glass block did a basement egress window for me and I cant say enough how much I love it. Nick and his crew (father/son) were awesome. I had 5 companies come out for quotes and Im so happy I chose Nick. He came out and really took his time explaining the process to me and why they did things a certain way. From his 20 yrs experience he has learned was works and what doesnt work for egress windows. His crew is a father and son team and they were super nice and respectful. They all showed up when they said they would and got right to work. I was home all day and got to watch here and there, and it was obvious they have a system down and it works seamlessly. Some companies asked me to take fence down and do some other prep/demo work. But with Lyons glass block, I didnt have to do any work and when they were done, the inside of window was trimmed out and looked like it had always been there. Nick was alway available by phone for any questions and he never made me feel silly or dumb. Lastly, his price was very good compared to others and I truly feel he delivered the best product without taking advantage of me and my finances. Lyons glass block inc knocked it out the park and I already have Nick working on an estimate for my next project I need them to do. Retrofitting an egress window into an established basement/older home scared me and I was definitely nervous. By the time Nick and crew showed up I knew I was in good hands. Update!! Nick also just recently glass blocked our newest home shower window. BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thanks again! Glass block expert! Good people! Fair price. Did basement windows in my Bellaire home, and they still look new after quite a few years past already.
