It maybe outdated and needs upgrades but its a nice hotel. The people who work there are super friendly and have been willing to work with me. Its always been clean when I stayed there, honestly cleaner than the other hotels in the area. Its a good hotel for the price and I would recommend it.

By far the worst hotel weve had the displeasure of staying at, no hot water no microwave no fridge no clean blankets, sheets pillows, blood on the mattress burns in carpet and when we saw and tried to cancel this stay in hell the manager said no its that hotels policy and tried to charge us anyway, needless to say I called the bank flagged this monstrosity of a business, I suggest sleeping in your car an save your money and the stress
Now to add, they saved my card info, so they saved all of my information including credit card information.

Old hotel needs a lot of updates the room needs lots of updates I am not expecting the Marriot grands hotel but for the cost could have been a lot better my wife would have never stayed in this hotel glad it was just me and my work partner her said his wife would have never even walked in. The person working the desk he was helpful and very nice.
Noteworthy details: Bates Motel Value Hotel but over priced paid 110 but should have been 49.99 really not being rude.

The owners are respectable and truly care about making sure guest requests/ concerns are handled appropriately. I worked here years ago and I strongly value the experience I gained. This is a great place to stay when traveling, and is a short drive to downtown Louisville.

I hate to give bad reviews, as you can see by my profile, I give kudos where they are deserved... But this place was pretty bad.
I have a service dog and a pet dog. They only have a few rooms for dogs they said and put us in the room 105. I was charged $15 for my pet. No smiles or greeting when I walked in.
It smelled dank and moldy, had stains all over the carpet. We were only in for a night so figured we'd just wing it and stay. We had to buy fabric and air spray to make the place tolerable.
I found an earring in my bed... that wasn't mine!! At least it wasn't bed bugs... We did check! Hoping the earring belonged to a cleaning lady and not the last person who stayed there!
We had 3 guests as marked on our reservation and... Only 2 sets of towels for us. They also downgraded us from a 2 king bed room to 2 queen room at the same price then as I said above, charged for my dog. Feels like we should have paid less for 2 queens beds vs 2 kings.
Then, we asked for 4 more pillows and only got 2 of them! And even that was like pulling teeth to get. My husband said they seemed hesitant to give us any extra. Maybe take a couple from another empty room?
If it would have been cheaper, I'd have rather taken our RV and camped. But, we were only in for 24 hours so proximity was what we had first on priority!
I'd definitely not stay here again. We are pretty easy to please...just look for clean, dry and safe... they are my bare necessities... And not clean as far as the bathroom goes. We found a soap bar up on top of the shower when our daughter was getting ready to go into the shower herself.
Beds are like springs with a sheet on them... So uncomfortable. And the safety lock on the door was broken. I mean come on ... How cheap is it to buy another and reinstall for your customers safety.
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. It's dirty, dank and needs some updates. They also had the food room locked up. Weird they didn't have any water or coffee as most hotels do. Just feels like they are skimping on everything.
Rooms: Not clean, soap found in shower prior to any of us using it .. so it wasn't cleaned. Found an earring in my bed .. hope it was the cleaning lady's as it WASN'T mine
Noteworthy details: None ... This place is running down and dirty.
