The incompetence and bush league performance of the USPS is truly unbelievable. How does a service dedicated to sending/shipping items screw up so badly. I shipped an item on 2/20/2024, estimated delivery 2/22/2024. The item is still in the Jeffersonville processing facility. When an issues arises and you open a service ticket it takes 2-3 days for them to respond, how does this help when the items is already 4 days late. I should have paid for priority but paying 300% more for the same thing to happen is asinine. Supervisors at the Post Office get paid very well, it must be based on seniority and not performance because a 2 year old could do a better job at running the Jeffersonville facility Too bad I can't give out negative stars.

This location has thieves on their payroll. My wife's grandfather mailed out multiple Christmas cards from this location, in person, to multiple locations around the US on the same day and every single card was ripped open, had the money/checks stolen, and then taped back up and mailed out to their destinations. This is a federal location that is hosting employee(s) that are commiting felonies and the managers appear to not care in the slightest when he went up to complain. No compensation or solutions were made.

On 12-23-23 I had an expensive package lost by this local post office. I was promised that they would call me back the day I reported the loss or theft. I made a total of four trips, and they never called me back and kept making the same claims they knew would not be true. I believe someone at the post office stole the package which required a signature, The item was small, very expensive, and it would be easy to guess the contents. It is upsetting to only get promises they don't keep and excuses.
