Called with a question for a tax problem he Travis refused to help unless I retained them. Even though in the near future I will need a accountant for another issue. Since I just wanted advice he said "so you want free advice" and hung up on me

My taxes got a bit more complicated than usual so I asked around and was referred to Pherson & Associates and I am so glad I was. From the first conversation I had until me Taxes were done (and done right) I was extremely impressed by them. They can go old school if needed but offer the latest in digital streamlining for gathering information to prepare your taxes. I uploaded all of my documents to a secure vault and once my taxes were done I was able download the forms and save them to my own secure vault or I could print them out and file them away. Whatever is more comfortable for the customer (paper or electronic) they can do it. I am not going sugar coat it, they are going to be more expensive than all the we will do your taxes for free advertisements but they are local and they are here to help with all your tax needs. You can support those big companies or you can help the local economy and keep the greater lafayette area thriving. Don't be fooled by those we will do it for free ads, I tried it one year and it ended up costing me more than I care to mention and the money I paid didn't even go to a local firm that is there when you need them. If you taxes become more complicated at least give them a chance to earn your business. If you are not satisfied you can always go elsewhere next year.
