Chauncey Village Apartments

The buildings have major problems beyond the naked eye that they let you see only briefly before signing. It is absolute hell. The air quality is horrible, and when I raised my hand to management, they immediately turned against me and they are cold cold cold. They have a regular business of trapping you into the lease and then making you pay extra to get out. I politely told them how much pain I was in due to the uneven and bubbling floors, They never even expressed concern and the manager was extremely cold, and just simply says my response is the same as before. Whatever you do, dont rent here, no matter how desperate you are. Its extremely bad to the point of where you cant even have furniture in here unless youre OK with it being extremely unlevel and trying to prop it up and then that still doesnt even work.

Lived here for 3 years. There are definitely pros and cons. Pros Wonderful office staff. Very friendly and easy to work with. The apartments are very good size for what you pay for. Maintenance my time there was prompt. And I had very few maintenance needs. Cons The walls are thin! I had great neighbors my first year, but the last 2 years noisy neighbors became a huge issue. The office did sympathize but there wasnt much that could be done. Overall: I would recommend Chauncey Village to others, but the thin walls is something to keep in mind!
