Visited a friend & was truly impressed with the tour they gave us. The only thing I struggled with, was handicap-accessible parking. The few spots that I did find, were far away from the doors & poorly lit. **I waited 15 min for a spot that was being held up by a delivery person. They had no plates or placards that would've allowed them to park there. Please remind your guests & delivery people to be considerate.**

Terrible place to live. Does not keep up with the buildings infrastructure. Loud beeping sound outside of the hallway all night that is very disruptive. You are most likely going to receive mailing issues as many different tenants have complained about not receiving their mail at a timely manner or at all. Claims there is a valet trash service but limits the hours for pickup and requirement for when the trash can needs to be put inside which can be inconvenient to people with odd working hours. Also they DONT tell you about the parking situations at all, it is so bad that if you want to have normal parking you better allocate some funds each month for premium parking so you can actually park NEAR the apartment. Overall I would not recommend living here with the constant noice disturbances, parking issues and mailing issues it's just not worth it for the price.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I would give them 0 stars if I could, it's been an awful experience from the start and I could've saved so much headache if I had just chosen somewhere else to live. I don't usually write reviews, but things have been awful enough here that I feel a responsibility to warn other people. Also, side note- I tried to post this review earlier, but for some reason it is not being displayed, so if a duplicate review appears it is just me trying to get this message out, because I feel like people deserve to be aware of what they're getting themselves into here. First and foremost, they've broken Indiana state laws to enter my apartment without notice for non-emergency work. They admitted to this mistake, and I should've broken my lease right then and there. Even when they aren't breaking laws to get into your apartment, they'll give you as little notice as they can get away with. They do not answer their phones in the office. You will be extremely lucky if they answer any of your calls. The only time they're in the office is from 9-5, which is the timeframe when most people are at work, so good luck getting ahold of them at all if you work during the day and are forced to call them. They are not open on weekends. There is extremely limited parking. Parking was already limited before they decided to cover a large portion of the parking lot with "premium" covered parking spots, and they've taken numerous other spots for electric vehicle charging, which I've only seen utilized maybe once. But other cars are not allowed to use the eternally empty "electric vehicle" spots. Electric vehicles are practically non-existent in Lafayette, Indiana, and there is no reason to dedicate an entire section of already scarce parking for them. If even a handful of people at the complex had electric vehicles, these spots wouldn't sit empty nearly 24/7. These spots sit empty and remain unused, but god forbid you park in them, unless you want to pay exorbitant rates to get your car back after being towed. They tout their covered parking spots (which cost at least $125 a month) as a solution to limited parking, but a lot of the spots just sit empty since the price for them is so ridiculous for the area. My close friend pays less for parking living in the heart of Boston. They say these were added by demand from residents, but so many of the spots wouldn't sit empty if the demand is as high as they claim. It's obviously just another cash grab, they'll try to take you for all you've got down to the parking. If you cannot find one of their normal parking spots, which basically all fill up by 5-7pm, or pay $125/mo for covered parking, you'll be forced to park at Ivy Tech and walk a half mile to the complex, sometimes in the dark and cold. If you're a woman, prepare to feel unsafe walking in the dark. They will tow your car and they'll jump on any opportunity to do it, and you'll be charged over $300 to get your car back. There is NO parking for guests or visitors, their only option is to park at ivy tech and make the walk over. I've had ants and crickets in my apartment. Dogs bark day and night, and it echoes through the hallways so loudly. You can hear every word and footstep of anyone walking through the hallway. People will wake you up at the crack of dawn on the weekends yelling "Housekeeping!" and letting the doors slam loudly as they enter what I assume are the airbnb spaces. There is very little storage space in each unit, you will struggle to figure out where to store even just brooms and mops. They are out here to scalp you for every bit of money you've got, and nothing else. They respond to a lot of their negative reviews with snarky comments as opposed to genuine concern. The responses that aren't snarky sound like they're written by ChatGPT. Most of their positive reviews don't offer much substance and are made in suspiciously fast succession, so take that as you will. Take notice and be aware that most of the positive reviews are written by people before moving in, immediately after moving in, or by visitors.

Rileigh was such a pleasure to work with. She has such a passion for the job and people that live at Anvil. The facilities are spotless. Their arcade is nice for rainy and snowy days!

The actual units in this apartment complex are nice . Updated kitchens . The parking situation was atrocious. We started off paying for parking and still having to fight for a space to them changing it halfway through our lease . They changed to free basic parking but made the parking space availability even worse . And the premium paid for spaces are limited . When parking was full , and after 7pm or so it always was we would have to park 1/3 mile away or so in overflow parking . As a female usually walking alone I did not feel safe . The area was pet friendly and even has a nice dog wash station if youre a dog owner. Anytime we needed to speak with office staff we would need to make time to go in person due to its impossible to contact them by phone .
