Ive been shopping here for years, off and on, making it a habit to try and browse all three vintage shops in the immediate area whenever I make it that way. Ive not found a ton in the times Ive stopped in, but Ive definitely spent some money here, and its consistently been headed downhill for awhile. I brought a friend along a couple of weeks ago that had never been in before, and he leaned over to look at a plant on a shelf right inside the front door only to (literally) be screamed at dOnT bOTheR mY pLaNTs!!! by the lady behind the desk. My friend responded politely, telling her that he had just been looking to see if it had a tag and was for sale, and she was incredibly rude to him yet again, replying in a condescending tone as if she were talking to a toddler, something along the lines of plants are dELiCatE sweetie, and obviously they arent for sale, so keep your hands off them. Like, its a secondhand store. Most things in secondhand stores are for sale. I was appalled and embarrassed to have brought a friend with me for him to be treated that way. The rest of our visit was unremarkable. We didnt find anything, but it was very uncomfortable having to walk past her at the counter as we left, as she didnt say another word to us at all. No thanks for coming in, bye, nothing. Didnt even look up from her book to acknowledge that we were walking out the door. We felt very unwelcome. Their selection nowadays is about as stale as their mildewy air, as they hardly get in anything new anymore. I havent noticed any significant change in merchandise in several years. It feels more like an indoor garage sale now than a retail space, and a dimly lit one, at that. Think: goodwill leftovers. Dont waste your time.
