When I first embarked on my journey in BJJ, I was grappling with personal challenges that traditional weightlifting at the gym couldn't alleviate. My daughters and I started at Ascend Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2018, then after some years, we merged with Asgard Combat Sports. It has been a blast training at Asgard. Everyone is very welcoming and supportive and we just like to have fun while learning very important skills. You never know how you're going to like it if you don't give it a try , so come on in! I've always wanted to try martial arts, just wasn't sure which one. A friend of mine at work has been doing jiu jitsu for years . So I came in and did the one week free trial. I'M HOOKED ! Been going twice a week now for 3 months. The Coaches are great teachers. Everyone is easy to get along with and extremely helpful. I'm 50 yrs old and do not work out. This is an excellent way to lose weight and get in shape not to mention self defense. Also a fantastic stress reliever.
