Motel 6 Lafayette, IN

They dont clean the rooms good, their customer service could be better, the rooms dont smell clean/fresh, the mattresses need a deep cleaning, and they dont stock adequate amount of towels. Two of us stayed with double beds and they had one towel stocked. I kept having to go to the front desk but I guess its a great example of you get what you pay for.

For starters, they charge a $20/ night "pet fee" that was not disclosed at the time of booking, nor was the $100 deposit. One towel was present in the which appeared to be absolutely filthy. No other towels, washcloths, etc were provided. The paper thin comforter did not provide a good night's rest, nor did the 1" thick pillows which felt like I was laying on a pile of laundry. If I understand correctly, the purpose of a motel is to allow a traveler to rest and sleep. That was pretty difficult to do at this facility. It is well lit with adequate security cameras, but I don't think I'll be returning.

Only pay for the day you plan on staying they will not return money for days you don't stay. I checked out a day earlier than I thought because I woke up to bugs in the bed I caught 1 and killed 1. I told the guy about the bugs and I wanted to check out now he said my money would get refunded in a few days but only got the 100 deposit. He also said he would take care of the bugs I'm pretty sure they deal with this problem alot. I'll not be back there. He was rude. But the lady that helped check me in pinky, she was nice and helpful that was the only good part of my vist. Floor had stuff stuck on it and the wiring was awful and serge protector was cracked. Hair and dust everywhere room was not cleaned very well. Rooms: Dirty, bugs Safety: People walking around all night in parking area and road beside it

I stay here with my husband and with my kid and we feel so safe and secure and we like to stay here again and again Rooms: Room were newly renovated and smell good and clean and comfortable we like tv and microwave Nearby activities: Columbian park, restaurant, Purdue university, shopping mall etc Walkability: Kid can play outside in garden in a walking distance they have huge garden Food & drinks: Im happy with vending machine they have all kind of snack and soft drink
