She doesnt listen to the patients, I was there to see if I had fibromyalgia and she took bloodwork but all she said that I had these issues because of my diabetes and thyroid problems, never did she say anything about me having fibromyalgia! She is condescending. I had to go to my primary doctor the other day and wanted a referral for a rheumatologist and i said I didnt want her but guess what I got referred to her but I am going to the nurse practitioner instead. When I talked with the office they said that in my records they showed from 2021 that i did have fibromyalgia and positive for AA ALL this time I never knew i had it and Ive been suffering in pain since 2021!

I saw her back in Nov. 2022 I spent more time waiting in the waiting room 45 min then in the actual exam room for about 12 min this included the nurse checking my vitals and all that fun stuff and making my follow up appointment I spent more time with the nurse than I actually spent with the actual Dr. She was very quick to dismiss me of my pain and told me that I was just stressed over things in my life....and that If i continue to be in pain she wanted to put me on a medication I have already been on that I was allergic to. I recently sent a message as I have been flared up and the steroids where the steroids were not helping her response was to be little me and tell me when I last got my refills on my medications like I didnt not know that already. She said i needed to come into the clinic but gave me no appointment to do this I never heard back from the office. I will be seeking another opinion as it is very clear that she does not care about her paitents, and their concerns.

She does not accept other medical diagnoses or education. She dismissed me as fibro and told me to get on an antidepressant and see my family doctor. She barely ran any blood work. She didn't listen to me at all. She didn't even know half of my symptoms. Being a doctor has gotten to her head, and she has lost the reasons why she became a doctor. I have been diagnosed with overlapping autoimmune. She has left me with no treatment because I'm a complex case and has not done anything else. I saw her one time. This is completely unacceptable. Do not see her if you can avoid it. I'm seeking a second opinion. Disappointing..smh

I was scheduled for a new patient appnt with Dr. Natarajan on Aug. 2nd, 2022. I woke up with a fever and sore throat that morning and called immediately to let them know and see what they wanted me to do, because I had just received a message a few days earlier regarding their Covid policies. Per those policies I was told not to come in, and re-scheduled for Sept. A few days later, I received a condescending letter from Dr. Natarajan for failing to notify her within 24 hours of cancellation. The letter explained how when a patient fails to show, they are taking away a health care opportunity from another patient. I've never cancelled or missed a doctor appointment before, and I actually agree/understand that missed appointments do take away from other patients, and perhaps cancellations are a common problem. However, before I sent someone a letter lecturing them like they were a child, using guilt tactics, and basically calling them selfish, I would make sure I had the facts. The last sentence of her letter said any further cancellations might result in her terminating services for me! The irony is that I only re-scheduled out of courtesy for other people, by being honest about my possibly contagious symptoms, and calling in to see what IU Health wanted me to do. For that, I received a written lecture from a doctor I've never even met. She doesn't need to worry about "terminating her services" for me, I already cancelled my re-scheduled Sept. appointment after receiving her letter. This is not a doctor I feel comfortable to discuss my health cares issues, or trust with my health care. I will find another rheumatologist.

She was very rude and would not accept that I was educated enough about my illness. She would not take my knowledge about myself into consideration. A nurse practitioner originally gave me my diagnosis and she immediately dismissed it. I nearly walked out. But she did confirm that my NP had me on all the right meds. Unbelievable.
