Wildcat Creek is a local gem. Relatively shallow water, sandy beaches and sandbars, as well as dense forest provide the backdrop for a beautiful day out enjoying Indiana nature. I have been coming here since 2018 or so, and I love spending time collecting rocks, looking at plants, playing with the toads, and swimming with friends. A must see for anyone wanting a day out on some water. The photo is from 2020 or so. Picnic area: There are tons of scattered picnic tables and areas to gather and eat outside, especially by the parking lot. Towards the beach there are no tables, but plenty of space to lay a blanket down to picnic.

Oooh this Beautiful Awesome Park with a Beautiful River! I love Wildcat Creek very much and the stones and shells are gorgeous underwater! Except the rule of NO SWIMMING!! Total bummer there but it's still fun exploring here. I can't wait to explore this place more!

One of my favorite places to be in the summer especially with my kids (there is a current and so i would recommend that if taking kids they are able to swim and practice caution or have floaties/life jacket or both. I would recommend to be prepared. It's a nature lovers dream and very beautiful. We swim but also like to just go here to relax or skip rocks and enjoy the scenery. This summer we are hoping to get the kayaks out there. It's absolutely beautiful!
