Patrick the co owner is wonderful and has been so helpful. Sarah is an incredible trainer and Abigail is great too. Sarah has also come to our home for private lessons. They helped with our puppy so much who completed the puppy program. We now are continuing day school with them because we love the trainers so much and so does our puppy. Katie, Hannah, Lauren are also so nice. The trainers have also taught us what we need to do as dog owners to make sure we arent reinforcing negative behaviors. We also take our puppy here for grooming, Whitney is the groomer and she is very sweet.

We absolutely adore the staff at Stepping Stone! It's evident that they love our pup and she's well taken care of during puppy school. The trainers keep us updated by report cards, videos, and pictures of our girl throughout her day there. She gets one on one training sessions with her trainer, and she also gets supervised group puppy play to help with her socializing. Stepping Stones has made a huge difference in how well behaved she is. They listen to our concerns, they work at it during day school, then they send us training videos on how we can do the same work at home. Our girl loves going to see Sarah and the other trainers! The groomer also sends us pictures once she's done to see if we want anything fixed while she's there - she always looks so good! HIGHLY recommend sending your dogs here!

Investing in professional training at Stepping Stone was one of the best decisions we made for our puppy, Penny! While my husband and I both had experience with dogs, there was just not enough time in our schedule for us to devote to training her to feel confident in the world. She had quite a few problem behaviors that left us feeling hopeless and stressed. Our vet recommended Stepping Stone to us and I am so thankful she did! Penny absolutely loves going to training. She is almost to the end of the eight-week program and has grown so much! She is able to walk on a leash without pulling, is much less reactive in public, will drop and leave items when we request her to most of the time, is incredibly less anxious in new experiences/places and has positive associations with other dogs and people, and knows a whole host of important commands. Penny has worked mostly with Sarah and Abigail. They are incredible and treat the dogs with so much kindness even when the dogs are struggling to listen or stay calm. It is clear how much Penny loves them and it really has affirmed the investment for us. (The co-owner Hillary is also incredible and has given us great advice along with Sarah and Abigail.) Not only that, but my husband and I have grown so much in our ability to train our puppy. Watching the videos each week allowed us to replicate trainings at home and respond in the appropriate ways to help modify her behaviors. Before this, we really tried to do positive reinforcement training, but just didn't have clear instructions for certain circumstances. We have been able to ask tons of questions and ask for specific training sessions for problem areas. They tailor the program to your dog's needs. If you are unsure about the price or are on the fence, we assure you it's worth it! We were sold after an intake call with the owner Hillary and I'm sure you will be too. We are SO sad Penny's program is coming to an end and will continue to be lifelong visitors for grooming and day school.
