Dr Conard has taken care of are family dental needs for 25 plus years. Tuesday I had a tooth break off and she scheduled me in for consult. She gave me several options and I chose for a temporary crown. She is very gentle and made sure I had no pain during the procedure and application of the temporary crown. I am scheduled to have permanent crown placed soon. Dr Conard has and staff has always done a wonderful job with are children also as they grew up. First thing I want to say is that everyone that works here is very kind and welcoming. The reason I do not recommend going here is because they make you pay for everything upfront and have insurance reimburse you. This can be difficult for people that do not make a lot of money, such as teachers like myself.
For example, in December they told me it was going to be $200 for my x-rays and cleaning. I told them I did not have the money at the time and to schedule the x-rays for my next visit (I just had a baby less than a month before this appointment so money was tight). I just went in today and had the x-rays done and when I went to pay it was now $303. The reasoning is because they have a new way to x-ray apparently that is done every five years. Instead of explaining this price difference beforehand and asking me if I wanted it, they just did it and expected me to be able to pay $303 out of pocket. On top of that they told me that I should schedule another appointment to have a filling redone. The only problem with this is Ive never had a filling, so there is no filling to be redone. She checked my charts and saw that I have not had a filling but insist there must have been one that wasnt marked.
Like I stated upfront, Lisa is very kind and professional and the new dentist working with her is also very kind, but my last two visits with the new dentist has my family and me looking for a new and more adorable place that will take insurance upfront.

I have been going to Dr. Conard since I can remember. She offers many different services and she is very gentle and always informative to the patient when she is working with them. She talks the patient through the procedures and cleanings that she is performing and always has great advice to give about brushing techniques and tips and tricks for flossing with braces on! She also offers services such as teeth whitening and can serve as a referral for teeth removal and orthodontics. She also sells products in the office such as whitening treatments, gum-sensitive oral mouthwash, and sonic toothbrushes! If you are looking for an all-age friendly dentist who cares about her patients and understands what she is doing, I would highly recommend checking her out! They also accept most dental insurances! I can't wait to get my teeth cleaned this year!
