Ive been receiving calls and voicemails for someone who uses this office and they have disclosed her medical info to me including her lab results, name, and medications for refill all named. The scary thing is that I use this office also so I wonder who else knows about my medical info as well that shouldnt. Of course my number is on my patient account so I dont understand how this happened and I do not know this women. Its been ongoing for weeks, at first I ignored it because I knew it was a mixup and assumed it would be fixed but now Im wondering how they are able to disclose this info over voicemail and not violate hipaa!
