Took truck in for auto body and paint repair. Was told repairs would take approximately two and a half weeks. When I dropped off my truck I was very clear that the vehicle had aftermarket LED light bulbs in the headlight assembly that needed to be transferred to new assembly during repairs. Only two of the four bulbs got transferred. Body shop manager tried to argue with me saying that I was wrong and the bulbs were not in the original housing. Eventually he admitted that I was right. After two weeks I was notified that the truck was done. I picked up the truck. After inspection I found the missing LED bulbs, orange peel in the paint and the new grille was damaged during installation. I returned the truck the following Monday and rejected the repairs requesting that the vehicle be fixed properly. Two weeks after that, the truck was said to be done. Went to get the truck and during inspection I discovered a missing dust cover seal for the headlights, the turn signal bulb that was missing had been replaced with the correct bulb. However, during assembly the technician damaged the new housing and used epoxy to rig up the socket to the housing. The grill was replaced again. The orange peel in the paint was gone, instead the truck now has swirl marks. Since this was an insurance claim I will be notifying the insurance company and let them handle it from here. I have wasted too much time trying to get the truck fixed. As of now, I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience and the service from Gerber auto body in Marion, Indiana. The only person who actually cared was the receptionist, Kendra. The truck was cleaned the first time I picked it up. Second time it was filthy from sitting out and from sloppy body work. Gerber has failed to make this right. Unfortunately, I can't afford to pay someone else to redo their poor work. As of July 18, 2023 my truck has not been properly repaired yet, Gerber got their full payment. Services: Painting, Body & Trim
