Canterbury House Apartments - Michigan City

First off I love the apartment but at the same time I dont . I hate the carpet they have bugs all in carpet and the bugs spread and be all in my kitchen cabinets even in my kids bed one night (February 2024) I put my child brand new bed up and the next morning it was two bugs in her bed and sores all up her arm they bit my baby arm up I didnt stress to much about it but Im tired of it I rather have tile and I cant stress it enough if I dont get tile on my floors by the next two years (I doubt I stay here that long) Im ending my lease I rather have a house and I looked up the bug and it shows carpet beetle for one I Hate bugs this is my first time having to deal with bugs like this and if you want some work done recommend Maintenance Mike He gets the job done.

I dont even want to give 1 star. I have been complaining about this stove since last year they said they had to order parts I was told by someone in the office it needed to be replaced Im not the only one complaining. They go over today 3/19/24 to look at it and said its nothing wrong so if its nothing wrong why get parts to many lies. The stove spark while in use I only have one burn to even consider using. At this point either youre lazy and dont want to do your job or just liars. Fix the stove because Im over dealing with unprofessional people. Im always getting text and emails about rent but I cant utilize what Im paying for and yall have the audacity to go up 200 on the rent. Make it make sense to me

I wouldn't never recommend that you move here the office is so unprofessional and they don't care about the tenants if you have a issue with your apartment and you need them to repair or replace something they always uses its the vendor fault

I moved in at the end of August and I love it. The staff is very helpful. Very quiet and if I have a maintenance problem they are right on it. If you fall behind on rent they will work with you before putting you out and taking you to court as long as you hold up to your part of the agreement The apartment was very clean. I absolutely love it. The building complex is clean and they keep the grounds clean.I moved in at the end of summer but they I hope next year the pool is open but overall I love it..
