Eddie Bauer Outlet

This location is what's referred to as an "outlet store"--meaning most of the merchandise is made specifically (and only) for sale at this venue, and not available through the standard EB catalog. I have two problems with that. First, they seldom ever have anything on the rack in an XL or 2XL unless it's a loud, or otherwise undesirable color. Not sure why, but, pro-tip, most adult men wear those sizes! FYI! And having said that I'm curious to know exactly who their target demographic is--teens? I seriously doubt teens are keeping this place afloat, buying $100+ jackets. Second, pricing. The whole concept of an outlet store revolves around access to name brand products, and the perception of getting great deals by shopping direct (or buying old/discontinued stock). Yeah, not so much in this case. Since EB actually manufactures a separate line of "outlet clothing" to stock these stores with, there are few if any great deals to be had. Pricing tracks very closely with retail sales for similar items in the catalog. Not to say you won't ever run across some old shirts or a bookbag they discontinued, it's just not the norm. IMHO this store should just be converted to a standard retail. Two stars for location and friendly staff. Thanks.

The entire staff go above and beyond to get us outfitted for the seasons. Mary seems to be a staple for each of our visits and never lets us leave without looking our best.
