    Got my energy assistance done there...the staff were nice and I got my Nipsco bill dealt with the same day... amazing!!!

    I was approved for assistance through this agency. The notification of the assistance never showed on my bill like it usually does even after 2 months of waiting. I called the energy company to inquire if they were ever notified. I was informed by the energy company that they had not been notified. I called the NCCAA to see if there was anything else I needed to do and why they hadn't notified the energy company of the assistance and I was met with an attitude, was interrupted before I could even explain the reason for my call and when I inquired why she was being rude to me I was told she wasn't and to just hold on." I was then transferred to someone who was equally as rude as the first and hung up on. I called back and was greeted with yet another person who had an attitude upon answering and who kept interrupting me, but told me I was the one being rude, when I was patient and kind with all of them from the beginning and just asking to be heard, my issue to be understood and for respect as I wasn't disrespecting them. They proceeded to call me back to tell me that I was being rude, though I wasn't, and that she had the right to refuse service. This agency is scandalous and a joke, and they absolutely have no idea how to treat people. I was kind to them and was treated like a criminal because I had a question because I'm handicapped and get confused easily. I'd advise you to find help elsewhere, because these people absolutely do not care about anyone or their well-being.

    This place is so unprofessional. The man/lady running around likes to use slurs and bad mouth the people that need services. Making fun of people with disabilitys. They mistreat employees. Bullying and harassing them. I would seek help elsewhere.
