Extended Stay America Select Suites - South Bend - Mishawaka - South

Nice place stay good rooms..Wendy and Kendra are nice staff here and ANGELA.. but we need 3rd shift desk clerk and but miss breakfast and coffee other wise nice stoves cable and reasonable rates for people disabled and over 55 here Mishawaka south location the other ladies desk are helpful also . Some live on SITE...nice workout room pet friendly also... great quit place for traveling nurse's has WORKOUT room.

Love the staff here they are truly great people and this is a great location close to stores and there are parks nearby

Definitely not the worst place we've stayed at. Hallway smells like urine. Room was.... well a place to sleep.

Rooms: Floors filthy counters needed more than a swipe. Nearby activities: Busy road so alot of stores and bussiness Safety: All kinds of bad activities happen there Food & drinks: Machines, NO FREE BREAKFASTS Noteworthy details: No have dryers,no irons,TV didn't work half the time.

The experience was so-so. Ill explain. The service was phenomenal, no complaints that I can ever say. And the front desk clerk was excellent. The PROBLEM was almost everything else; the pictures from the room we looked at online did NOT match the room we stayed in. And thats one problem. Second problem, was WiFi was spotty at best; it tended to slow our video load speed at times or just shut off completely until it turned back on a few seconds after. Third problem was the electric oven, which I used to bake a pizza AND some cinnamon rolls; it worked, do not get me wrong, but it tended to steam, almost to the point of smoking a light grey color. Bathrooms worked fine, but the knob for the shower was pretty weird; initially, I couldnt figure out which direction to turn it, so it took me a minute to finally figure it out. Readers, please turn the knob to the LEFT instead of the right, like I did. Another thing to keep note, is this hotel DID advertise free breakfast, but they were wrong when I got word from the front desk clerk. This, in a sense, was almost false advertising, as was the misleading information about the room we stayed at; do not judge a book by its cover until youve actually read whats in it. First impressions here were wrong. To any readers who go to ExtendedStay America in Mishawaka, which is down the road from IHOP, please be careful with what youre looking at, because the pictures will try & lie to you. Just fair warning. 3/5 until they can get their act together.
