Silvertree Communities

I wouldn't recommend housing with Silvertree unless you have no other options. They love to constantly "update" policies and procedures, like when they suddenly changed the pet policy from two animals per tenant to two animals per entire apartment. Or even the time they suddenly sprung changes on us regarding where and how payment can be made and how utility payments are handled. In addition to that, they have recently made multiple forced, non-optional renovations where they force you to move on short notice with few accommodations made in regards to work schedules, moving schedules, etc. They have no regard to the decency of their units, allowing safety and maintenance issues to go improperly fixed or even completely unaddressed without ever fixing them. If you do bring a pet here, I recommend removing your pet from the unit anytime you are given the decency of a notice before anyone comes for maintenance because they have no regard for your animal's wellbeing. They are notorious for leaving doors open, leaving dangerous and unhealthy debris everywhere and coming and going without notice and often without locking behind themselves. You have parking permits, but they are rarely enforced, so often there is nowhere near your unit to park on busy days/time of day. Don't bother going to the office and attempting to get anything addressed, because they will essentially tell you to get over yourself and deal or break lease and go elsewhere. I have never had the displeasure of being treated with such a large degree of unprofessionalism, disrespect and lack of decency. Do better Silvertree.

Rent is cheap for college students and other. Office staff is very friendly and easy to get in contact with. Systemically speaking however, the redstone app sucks. Electric bills are through the freaking roof for no reason. Their renters insurance company is literally terrible to get into contact with, I didnt realize so was paying through my own insurance and theirs for 5 months and had the WORST time trying to get it cancelled because of an error on their end not mine. Also there is no seniority so if you want a big bedroom start there dont start in a small one. I dont use the amenities over at the office building and am still paying for them which everyone has to but I think thats annoying and you have no choice but to pick up the fob for the doors over there. Your packages will get stolen so get an apartment door ring camera. For whats its worth the insides of the apartments are nice. Windows need updated they dont keep cold out or heat in. Its definitely not the worst and the rent is nice.
