  • Nothin Fancy Home Cookin

    This place is a hot mess train and I do mean a hot mess. I cannot say that some of the staff were great and some were not so great only because we were not even sure who the folks that were there from 5pm til 11pm whom were staff and whom were friends or family of staff trying to clean the place in a mad dash. We were then told that 5 people had called off. We checked in at 5pm and we're told it would be just a minute and she gave us our keys and off she went. So we went to see where our room was so the other gal could park accordingly. Came around the corner and the same gal said it will be just a minute as she tossed the iron and clothes hangers into the hallway in a pile. She was trying to mop our bathroom and there was a puddle in the entrance to our room and cleaning supplies all over the hallway. I stayed this is the first hotel I had been too that didn't have a cleaning cart. She finished our room and we had to ask for towels be there were three of us and it looked like enough for one person. We were told we would have to wait. So we waited and waited. My boy walked down to the laundry room and they gave him a stack of what I thought was just hand towels. We had IHOP for dinner and syurp was all over so I went down looking for wash rags and towels and a big guy on the night shift was at the front desk. He stated they were being washed. This is like 11pm or later. My boy went down again to get some towels so that I could take a shower and he came back with three hand towels and rags that were tore up more than the old one in my kitchen sink drawer. If I can post the pictures with this review you know I will. We are frequent flyers with Quality Inn stays and this was the absolute craziest, dirtiest, most tore up one we have ever stayed at. I asked a beared gentleman if they had a business center and he said no we haven't go to that yet but I know where I want it to go. I then inquired if they had just bought the place and was told no they have had it for 3 years now. Me and my son went for a walk to check out the pool that had magically just been shut down that day for maintenance. That was the only reason he came on the trip with me and my other business lady. When we walked down to the pool area we noticed that the hot tub had been filled in with cement. On our way down those hall ways we're lots of folks running crazy, a cleaning cart, room doors all opened. One gal asked a gentleman if he was going to clean his room. My son commented clean his room, I said maybe he lives here. On the way down I said I smelt green in the air and my son said smells like sweet Mary Jane lol. But this is a non smoking facility. All the chairs were on top of the table in the dinning area. When I asked about breakfast I was told they would have waffles, toast, muffins that it started at 6 during the week and 6:30am on the weekends. There were restaurant drinks on the counter that were set down some point after check in. They were just pushed against the side wall in the morning. We were on a tight schedule to get breakfast and out of the hotel by 7am to get our tables set back up where we were going. I came out about 6:40am to a dark dining hall, all I could get was juice in the dark. I went to the front desk and the night guys was outside smoking. I asked about breakfast and was told it started at 7. I then replied with the info I was given when we arrived and he looked at me again and said 7. Went back to our room finished getting our cart loaded and my older business lady came out and we could get yogurt out of a case in a cooler. But all you had to eat with was knives and forks. Went to the front desk and asked about spoons as she had looked in all the drawers and could not locate them. The same gentleman was again outside smoking said all he had was out. The counters and floors were so sticky all over. 7am magically there was waffle mix, bread, spoons, cereal ect Rooms: Our room had no closet. There was an ironing board laid against the wall in the bathroom and the hangers and iron that was in there we were met with in the hallway when the employee who checked us in went to clean out room at 5pm tossed them out into the hallway.

    Room not clean. No towels, had to ask for towels and they vacuumed room. Donny was very helpful and got things done. Price changed from quote, called several weeks before or longer.

    As soon as we walked in we were met with a horrible smell that made me and some other family members want to hurl. It also took 15 minutes to get in our room because a TV was broken and that was at 5pm and it wasn't fixed until like 11pm. The Jacuzzi tub had cracks in the bottom of it and when we asked for extra comforters and they said "oh sorry were out" even though there was like 12 cars out there and some of the staff is also quite rude. Do not come here it sucks a##. Can't forget to mention the stains on the walls. Just go to one of the hotels nearby like the days inn.

    Worst experience ever. This hotel was booked for me as Im in town for a conference, the front desk was unoccupied for 20 mins when I got here so I couldnt check in The first room had a broken window latch so it kept coming open, and the new room has ceiling issues. Someone call the police.
