Amish Inn

One of the few hotels in Nappanee. Room was pretty good. Bed is firm so if you like firm beds its a good place. Lots of channels on the tv to watch. Main complaint is the lack of breakfast options. They advertise free breakfast. But its actually a little store they give you 5 bucks to spend when you stay. Muffins, cereal, breakfast bars. They obviously did a full breakfast before with the space they have and reading past reviews. With the prices they charge they can spend some and provide a better breakfast for their guests.

The room was acceptable. Website stated hot breakfast. The only thing provided was a 5 dollar voucher to use in their limited store. There were only 2 other occupied rooms in the hotel. I asked for a noon checkout instead of the normal 11 AM. The lady told me there would be an additional $25 dollar charge to stay the extra hour. They need some customer relations training. I won't be back.

Food & drinks: This high priced room ($176.00) which included breakfast was very disappointing.There was no breakfast at all, not even coffee. We were told to make coffee in our room. We were supposed to have received a $5 coupon at check on which we did not) and pick items from their store which was basically junk food. I have never stayed at a hotel which included breakfast that really didnt. We were pretty much the only people in the hotel which was bizarre. Will not stay again.

Rooms are always clean, staff is great, it's a little dated but the room rates are excellent!

When booking the room its listed with Continental Breakfast. Its not an option and there are items you can get with a voucher from their Gift Shop. I think that information needs to be included with Booking sites.
