I had my wedding at the pepin mansion this past Sunday. The venue was beautiful! My wedding went well despite the lack of presence of my coordinator. The coordinator, Janna came with the venue. She was awesome when I would ask her questions and have requests about my wedding. But she was over an hour late on my wedding day. My mom and I had to take care of all the vendors in the middle of us getting ready. I understand that she was having childcare issues, but I just hoped that she communicated that more instead of waiting for me to ask her where she was. I also think there should be someone there that could have helped coordinate if she was having issues. My florist, dj, baker and other vendors got there before she did. Before my ceremony started we were looking for her because she was supposed to tell us when to go and start and it took a little bit for us to find her. I had a few of my wedding party say that she left for an hour during the wedding/ reception as well. We also stayed the night there and Taylor made us wonderful breakfast! Shes amazing. Overall I would stay here again but Im not sure I would recommend this venue unless you had your own wedding coordinator.

We've stayed here twice already. We absolutely love it. It's a beautiful historic mansion. With an added bonus of breakfast served every morning at a elegant table for the guests.

We came here to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We stayed in the Culbertson suite. It was a nice room, very big with high ceilings. The bathroom has French doors that open onto a small balcony that overlooks the Culbertson mansion and the railroad and river can be seen in the distance from the window. The stairwell to tower is just outside the room. The tower is a great place to view sunrises and sunsets. You can also just sit and watch town life. This place is like stepping back almost 200 years. Really neat. Ron, the owner met with us and gave us a tour of the building and some history of the building and New Albany. There are many shops and restaurants around for lots to do. The light breakfast was good and its always fun to meet new people at the community breakfast table. Nearby activities: This mansion is only a couple blocks away from the river. There is a walking trail that goes for miles. It can even be used to walk over to Jeffersonville and take a walk bridge over the river to Louisville. It is only 10 blocks away from downtown New Albany where you can find many shops and restaurants. We walked around and saw many art galleries, clothing stores, and antique shops. There is a skate park down by the river near the amphitheater. Neat little town.
