Schuler Homes

Make sure you don't move into one of their neighborhoods where they run the HOA. They don't bother to enforce their own HOA rules WHATSOEVER. My yearly HOA fees are a complete and total waste. My neighborhood has more than doubled in size since I first moved in. There isn't any extra common area that needs to be maintained and Schuler and their lawyers aren't doing anything to enforce the rules so, now that they're making double on fees compared to what they used to make, where is all of this extra money going? My guess is that it's either making someone's boat payment or it's supplementing neighborhoods filled with Schulers or their lawyers. I would gladly move out of this neighborhood and never deal with Schuler again if interest rates weren't so high right now. One star is about five too many. My response to their response below - my last 4-5 emails have gone completely unanswered even after I asked for a follow-up.

We lived in Cincinnati Ohio and wanted to move back to the Louisville area (Jeffersonville Indiana) to be near our children and grandkids after we retired. So after a long time researching, we decided to use Schuler Homes, best decision weve made in a long time. They allowed us to completely customize the house the way we wanted it. The workmanship and quality is impeccable! I have never had follow up service so fantastic and thanks to Anne and Josh weve had an awesome experience. I can tell you that I have moved 12 times and we have built three houses and bought two that were brand new. Never have I had the quality and service that I have gotten with Schuler Homes.

We have had 2 different new construction homes by 2 different home builders in Southern Indiana. By far, we have loved our Schuler Home better than the ASB. After talking to others in our neighborhood, there is a consensus that the other homes are not built as well as the Schuler Home. I would highly recommend them.
