Jodi is absolutely amazing!!! When I first started looking for a house, I had a goal of moving by 6 months out. I wanted to be able to take my time and find something I would love. She listened to my wants and searched accordingly. If she found something that was slightly out of my desired parameters, she would mention it up front, which means she stayed aware of what I wanted and wasnt just trying to make a sale. The first house she showed us, she pointed out faults that I didnt even think of, which meant she truly was out for my well being. She knew how important location relating to the school system was to me, and kept this in the forefront of her searches. Jodi worked with my complicated work schedule. She even made sure I had a point of contact if I found something while she was on vacation! What I loved so much about working with her is that if she had plans with her family, she kept her family plans while being able to fit me in before or after. This means she prioritizes family in her personal and professional life both. This proved to me that her heart is in the right place.
When she found the last house she showed us, it had one of my absolute no parameters of not wanting a garage that sticks out past the front door. But given then color of the paint and the way the house sits on the land, it turned out to not be offensive at all!!! The moment we walked in, I knew where my Christmas tree would go, without rearranging furniture every year. I knew then that I wanted to call it home.
Jodi made the process of buying a home seem easy by explaining in great detail all the complicated parts of it. When it came to dealing with the financial aspects that confused me, she spoke to my loan officer for clarification and I heard back from her immediately. When I had questions that had nothing to do with her end of the work, but I couldnt get ahold of someone, she made calls to get people on the phone. I had a rocky start working with someone else and was ready to give up, but Jodi turned that right around. She was patient, kind, and caring through the several months it took me to decide. I never felt rushed or pushed into buying something I didnt want. I could tell this is more than a job for her. Its a passion!
I am so very grateful for Jodi. After living in this home for 5 months, now, I still think about how I wouldnt be here without her help. Jodi is a great person and a great realtor!!! Thank you, Jodi!!!
