We have used Storage Express for all our storage needs for the last year or so. They have been very easy to deal with and have the best rates around.

STAY AWAY FROM THE "EXPRESS" locations of this company! The customer service is null and void. Therefore, the communication is not accurate. You cannot imagine what my family was dealing with right before Christmas. And just a few days before Christmas we needed multiple storage units as we processed my parents Estate. I thought that when we pre-paid for storage units that meant since we were renting the units that they were ours until we terminated the agreement. But NOOOO! Pre-paid for FOUR units Dec 21st. (no free months, no specials). On Jan 5th, as planned, the first set of the Heirs flew into town from DC, rented a UHaul and collected their items from one of the storage units. Perfect! AND THEN, only 5 days later and after recovering from being sick, on January 10th I returned to get the lock the Heirs were to leave for me inside of the unit so I could then schedule the next truck of items to deliver more items for another Heir. MY PRE-PAID UNIT WAS TAG-LOCKED AND THE MAINTENANCE PERSON WHO HAPPENED TO BE ONSITE HAD TAKEN MY LOCK AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE GOING TO RENT IT TO SOMEONE ELSE! What? I paid for that unit! I had a total of 4 units on that property. AND my accounts were set up for AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS! THE COMPANY DID NOT REFUND ME. The maintenance person was less than kind. They 'think' that the contract I signed says that if there is not a lock on the unit that means I moved out. NOT TRUE. The contract I signed does say that I need to call to have my agreement terminated. It says that if it doesn't have a lock on the unit that will nullify an insurance claim. It also says that I need to give advance notice so they can stop any automatic payments. RUN! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BRANCH OF THE COMPANY! STORAGE EXPRESS IS HORRIBLE! Go to EXTRA SPACE STORAGE in Jeffersonville and see Adam or go to Extra Space Storage in New Albany and work with Spencer or Zack. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General as soon as our family gets through our loss.
