We've used Mark Dill Plumbing a couple of times spending quite a bit of money. We had one issue with a faucet that was installed improperly. When we contacted them they accused us of trying to fix it ourselves and creating the problem. They fixed the problem, after an argument over charging us for another service. We will never use them again and recommend finding a plumber that doesn't blame their customers for their mistakes.

Approximately 7 months ago Mark was doing a job at our house that cost us over $600, I asked him while he was in our house what he thought about giving us a round about cost for installing water softener and whole home filtration- he jotted a quick estimate down. Fast forward 7 months, I called to once again ask about that estimate because we were now ready to do the work. The lady said she would look for it and send to me, she found and emailed to me. I reviewed it but it was vague so I emailed back asking if someone could swing by the house and review the work with me one more time before I schedule work to spend the $1000+ to complete. The lady called me on phone and rudely asked what I meant by "review the work". I explained that I am a customer that likes to understand the work being performed to assess if I want to spend the money (I am a father of 6 and every penny spent means something). She quickly and rudely stated "we do not do that" and she also said "he already made the time to come to your house and he gave you a free estimate- you are not getting another one". I corrected her by letting her know that he did not make a special trip as he was already in my house doing work that I was paying for. I told her I did not want an estimate, I just want to understand what all will be done. She immediately responded with "well I would like to think that you understood the first time he reviewed it with you" and again said that they were a "service" company and did not do that. She not only was rude but then insulted my intelligence. I let her know that I did not appreciate her comments and that it was several months ago that Mark reviewed this with me, but she persisted. I stated that I had other companies that were more than happy to help explain all the details, she told me to "go with those other companies then". I responded with a shocked "oookaay" to which she said "goodbye". I am just shocked by a local company that treats people this way and I refuse to allow this to be ok. I have never written a review in my life but felt this was inexcusable and do not want others to go through similar situation.
