I have always loved this place and still do. BUT: Although there is a plexiglass shield behind the register, two of three women working there yesterday had their masks off, which was bad enough, but when one worker without a mask on tried to walk around and hand me my package, I asked her to leave it there and I would get it. She said, "No, I'll bring it to you." I turned so I wasn't facing her, but what the heck? Wear your mask! I know she's coming into contact with lots of people this time if year. I don't appreciate not only her casual regard for safety, but also her imposition on me. I was so disappointed.

A Corner Cottage is much larger than it looks from outside. The shop owners are so nice and their little dog, (Hailey, I think) is so well mannered and sweet. Great customer service and their happy to help you find the perfect gift or allow you to browse as long as you like.The shop is well organized with beautiful Christmas items now with ornaments, wreaths, greenery and much more holiday decor and gifts. They also have a terrific collection of mid-century modern furniture in excellent condition with tables, credenzas, shelfs, table and floor lamps. If you know of anyone decorating in this style, let them know. Several styles of furniture pieces are intermixed in decorative groupings. You'll find jewelry, clothing, glassware, hats, socks and several other collectibles here. I highly recommend you stop in and browse. I always find several things I love.Street parking is easy to find and it's across the street from the Courthouse. Several adorable shops within walking distance in this area. Don't pass up Corner Cottage.
