Wolfies Grill — Pendleton

We were there Friday 4/5 and I got busy and forgot to leave a review. As a whole everything was good, the seared ahi tuna was excellent. My daughter ordered an American cheeseburger and she ordered it plain. When they came to the table with our entrees the burger definitely wasnt plain but despite being only 9 she told them politely that it wasnt right. They said they would fix it and they basically just carried it to the kitchen, picked off the toppings, and brought it right back out; meaning that the burger still very much had the remnants of the pickles and onion that had been sitting between a hot burger and the bun. My daughter bit into it and just kind of dropped her head in disappointment. I asked her what was up and she said I dont want to say anything because they obviously didnt care the first time. Once I got her to explain the problem I told the staff again, so they took her plate back to the kitchen and remade it but it definitely wasnt great. She ordered the burger medium and there was absolutely no pink to it and this time the cheese was so hot it stuck to the bun but not the burger and the first time it came out that wasnt the case. She went ahead and ate it but all this tells me is that they didnt give a damn about making it right they just wanted to shut her up. This is the kind of thing that not only tells me I have no need to return; I will also tell anyone who asks this establishment is completely comfortable giving the least amount of effort possible. As a side note, if you look at all the reviews Ive ever left youll see I almost never have anything negative to say, so the fact that I am doing so now speaks volumes.

We stopped for lunch on our road trip. The place was almost full. We sat in the bar area. The hostess was very professional and seated us without any waiting. Our waitress was spot on abs very attentive. Husband had fish, loved it. I had a pecan crusted chicken salad, it was so incredibly good! Highly recommend this place!
