I've been using J&M Golf for mine and my family's golfing needs for years. Generally been happy with them. Mostly used them to shop local versus a chain store (which there is plenty of them around). After my last experience with them it is now time to use the chain stores or find another ma and pa shop in a different city. Order a 4 iron from them, after 2 weeks went by I called them (2/10/24) to see how the order was going. I was told to hang tight, should be there soon. Called back 9 days later and was told it wasn't in yet, again. At that point I told them I need a better answer than should be here soon. Received a phone call back shortly with them telling me it was in a box at distributor just waiting to be picked up by delivery service, should be in by that Friday (2/23) at the worst. Friday went by, no call, so I called again on the 27th and was told 'the club is here, we called on the 9th and couldn't leave a voice-mail'. (Wow my club has supposedly been there for 18 days and you can't contact me). I literally called one day after it supposedly arrived and they supposedly called me (zero missed calls, no voice-mail left) After explaining to them that I have no record of a missed call on the 9th and my voice-mail works just fine, they continued to act like they didn't know what happened and oh well. No sorry for our mistakes, no apologies, nothing! Asked for a break on the purchase price, to no avail. So, I wouldn't recommend using a golf shop that is willing to lie to you, deflect their mistakes, and make it seem like their short comings are your fault. Find a shop that cares about its customers and its integrity, or go chain store. Update (3/9): Just found out they did something exactly similar to another customer recently. I guess customer service comes in a distant second, maybe 3rd or 4th, to them taking your money without caring about their service or how they treat their customers when they make a mistake.
