Loved her from the very start!! Made me feel so comfortable not to mention made me feel very calm about my whole birth experience. Couldnt have asked for a better doctor

I have been going to Barb Diakos for a little while now and she has been nothing but great and very caring! She delivered my healthy baby girl and I cant thank her enough! The office staff is so loving and kind as well. All around a great experience

If there could be a score in the negatives thats what this very unprofessional doctor would get from me. My daughter, after having four miscarriages, went to this woman to see what the next steps should be. She suggested fertility so thats what my daughter did. My daughter became pregnant and made an appointment to see her again. She was told she had high blood pressure at that 1st appointment. My daughter had many questions due to the past miscarriages but the doctor wouldnt even talk about her fears, she just kept harping on my daughter about her blood pressure. No baby check, no nothing. Was just told to see a cardiologist. She was told to come back in three weeks. Big mistake!! At that appointment three weeks later, the nurse asked if she saw the cardiologist yet, she said not yet but she was making drastic changes to lower it herself until she could get into the cardiologist. The Doctor then FLEW in the door and instantly began screaming and berating my daughter about not going to the cardiologist yet. No hello, how are you, how are you feeling,,,, NOTHING but making my daughter feel uncomfortable and attacked. Her husband then stood up and told the doctor he was NOT going to allow her to talk to his wife like that. She still continued to yell at my daughter saying she was two points from a stroke (which was NOT true) and was only trying to help her. My son in law told her again I told you that you are NOT going to address my wife in this tone! She has very bad anxiety and you screaming at her isnt HELPING her as you claim to want to do She then turned to her nurse and stated they will NOT be back here again! My son in law shot back saying Youre damn right we wont! I fully understand how important blood pressure is, especially in pregnancy, but to address someone in this manner is completely unacceptable, unprofessional and downright cold and rude, no matter your situation. There was many other ways to approach this discussion as I agree it is an important conversation to have, but screaming at your patient isnt one of them. Shame on you Dr. Diakos!!! I will tell everyone I can about the horrible experience my daughter had on a day that should have been the happiest; The first time hearing her babys heartbeat after four miscarriages and fertility!! She left in tears and they werent the happy ones that should have been. Proceed with caution my friends.
