I am a real estate broker in Illinois, and have referred multiple clients moving to Indiana to Providence RED for a new home. They build a great house, at a great price. My clients have been happy, keep up the good work!

Not a good place to buy a home. We have been here 9 months. Find an issue every day. Complaints go to deaf ears. If you buy have your own inspector throughly check your house. Do NOT trust Bill or Joe still waiting for the warranty guy to fix our problems. Examples of issues: bad windows, lack of insulation, cold rooms, painting not completed etc. Dont care attitude.

6 years later, we are still finding pathetic and dangerous workmanship by Providence Builders and their contractors. Was periodically hearing a humming/buzzing that I could not pin point. Found the shotty wiring on one of our outlets. This is the 4 electrical safety issue that we have found since our house was built. Not to mention the numerous other mistakes that they dont care about. Some structural issues also that they literal ignore and shrug the shoulders. Pathetic example of professionalism.

First off, USE ANY OTHER BUILDER AND SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF GRIEF. We have had some items repaired, so its not 100%, but every day that goes by there is more wrong with the home. The quality of products and workmanship that is used is lacking to say the least. Doors and windows will be drafty almost immediately. One room of our house is always 10-20 degress warmer or cooler than the rest and it is deemed as "normal" deviation by their so-called warranty. We have had additional insulation added to attic (supposedly over that room) to find out there's a section that's not even accessible that has little to no insulation and that's where all of our hot/cool air is escaping to. All answers are just a run around about how everything is inspected thougouly and fully, so when you find a problem it must not be a problem because it was inspected. Their warranty guy may answer you 1 or 2 times but after that you'll be lucky to hear back after 3 months. It all feels like a stall tactic to push homeowners over the 1 year mark. All of the homeowners in the neighborhood have similar problems and many have spent out of pocket to fix things that Providence did not do right to start with. 1 warranty guy for 500 homes is not my problem either. That is very much their problem of not hiring enough. It should not take months to hear even a basic reply just to have appointments be a no-show or do things that we can't even find. Stay very very very far away from this trash builder if you value your money.

House was built 2021 and am still battling to get the corrections since construction. Warranty department very slow to respond on corrections. Significantly understaffed company for maintenance and warranty issues. Issues noticed to them at move-in still pending. They have other priorities once the sale have been done and good luck on getting any corrections done thereafter that dont meet your expectations or indeed basic standards expected from a new built. HMO team not helpful either. Some very urgent corrections from incorrect work was redone multiple times to meet some standards. Still waiting for the warranty manager to do what he said he will and its been over a year for some issues and over 3 months for related corrections needed. They need significant changes to warranty support. This review is written to highlight and help them understand customers trusted them to do a good job and need corrections when identified to be addressed in reasonable time. One year is not reasonable. They expect the home owner to wait until their warranty team is larger to address the issues and wait until then. Hardly a professional approach.
