The team at Mathnasium of Crossroads is painstaking and goes through extraordinary lengths to instruct students in math to make sure that kids understand various topics. Our daughter's grade improved in math because concepts were decomposed and explained to her so that she could understand them. The environment is relaxed yet vibrant, and students are encouraged to ask questions. I strongly recommend Mathnasium of Crossroads for families who are looking for math help for their children.

Mathnasium has been a helpful support system for my two children and I. During our time at Mathnasium, we discovered a place where we can ask questions about classroom instructions, review homework and prepare for quizzes & tests. Not only do students work on their daily school assignments, but they are given extra lessons for practice to build a better understanding of the fundamentals and the current math lessons in school. Mathnasium is familiar and follows the Lake Central School District's curriculum. Mrs. Rashna and her team of tutors are helpful, knowledgeable, kind and patient with all students ranging from elementary, middle and high school levels, including myself, as a professional librarian educator, caring and present parent who believes in encouraging students to do their very best with their academic performance.There are in-person and remote online support appointments to choose from. How convenient is this, there's no excuse not to find and reach out for extra help. Students attending Mathnasium not only receive extra help with their homework, they are given the opportunity to accumulate visiting points and earn a reward from the program validating their hard work, especially when they receive 100% scores or raise their classroom grade. This is just an extra boost to build that confidence, loose the fear and nerves, to try to master and excel in math. I am relieved and satisfied with Mathnasium's services, and I am sure you won't be disappointed if you try it for six to 12 months, or even inquire about the short summer break sessions. Very pleased. In less than a month my kids math grades moved up a letter grade. They like going and have asked for more time there. That pretty much says it all.
Update 2/26/2023. My kids grades have each moved up another notch. ;)
