Stonebrook of Scottsburg

I was extremely skeptical moving into Stonebrook apartments due to the past reviews. In all honesty, I have read the past reviews and I was actually pretty horrified by the reviews. I have read about bugs being the apartments, shady staff, maintenance not doing their job, and so on. Yes, the stairs need to be fixed or replaced, but I understand its the higher up who will decide on that. I clearly understand that the office staff has no say so when the stairs will get replaced. The stairs are safe to walk up, but you do need to be careful because the stairs are very steep. However, I took a chance and it has been an absolute blast to be living here. The other tenants are great and they are extremely friendly. Plus, I have noticed if you have a package by your front door that was delivered that day, nobody will mess with it! That is how wonderful the tenants are here. The staff in the front office Taunya is a total gem. Always polite and ready to assist anybody who walks in the office. Bob the maintenance man is another great person who works here. He is a very hard working man. Bob is very quick to get help the tenants with their needs or problems they are having in their apartment. I honestly, really dont have anything to complain about except the stairs. Other than that its great living here at Stonebrook apartments despite the negative reviews. I am just grateful I am here is such a wonderful apartment complex.

Save yourself time and money and look somewhere else. Poor management- from the office to higher ups. In debt with SEVERAL SEVERAL companies. They cant even pay their paint guys/ mowing or asphalt companies after the job has been completed. You will find the office manager never in the office, and when she is there, youll find her partner sitting across from her 24/7, talking about employees/ tenants. Very unprofessional. Management and employees ALL stay clocked in and go home, with office manager approval- so good luck talking with anyone who works there. SHADY.
