Sarah received her bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, her master of science degree in physician assistant studies from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and is board-certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.A lifelong area resident, Sarah graduated from Marian High School before attending IUPUI. Influenced by a family rooted in health care, she worked as a phlebotomist before entering graduate school for more clinical experience. She completed two dermatology internships, has clinical experience across the spectrum of care, and is capable to treat patients of all ages.In Her Own Words What was your first job growing up? Applebee’s - Carside-to-go and I learned how to deal with ‘hangry’ people.What is your favorite food, movie? Ranch – if it was socially acceptable, I would drink it. My favorite movie is Supertroopers.What was your best/worst subjects in school growing up? My best subject in school was math, whereas my least favorite was chemistry.In addition to medicine what are you passionate about? I am passionate about animals.What are your hobbies, interests?
