Always be ware of the billing. They will take your insurance details.Submit a few hundred dollars in addition to insurance(advance, just in case). They promise to return it once they receive it from insurance. They will do their magic billing after you left. Surprise, that's not all! You will receive further bills to pay if you thought you would get a refund for the deposit amount. Bonus: Receive messages in All CAPS from them. I would never recommend them.

I've to Klondike Dental Care a few times over the past several years. Front desk staff and hygienists/assistants have always been very nice. Dr. James was always professional to me but did say some odd things from time to time. A different dentist who used to work there struggled with a tooth removal in the past, and required assistance from Dr. James. I feel they tore up my gums more than necessary, resulting in two sutures being used. They also accidentally scraped a dental instrument against the roof of my mouth, leaving a very painful scratch. That said, I understand that the tooth wasn't in good shape and was difficult to remove because of the shape it was in. I had a very positive experience yesterday though. I was dealing with a very sore tooth and thought that it was infected. I called the office at 7:00am to ask if there were any availabilities that day because I was in a lot of pain and was worried about infection. They were able to get me in at 9:20am. Alicia, the dental assistant, was very nice, professional, and thorough in her explanations of the procedure, after care, and cost breakdown. She was very attentive during the actual procedure with Dr. VanArsdel. Dr. VanArsdel was also very nice and professional. She didn't try to push getting any other work done, even though I need it, and understood my dental health plans and goals. She was very attentive and caring during the procedure, stopping to make sure I wasn't in pain when I was fidgeting (which was due to nervousness and not pain). I'm very thankful and impressed with Klondike Dental Care.

I visited Klondike Dental Care for a dental filling on the left side of my mouth last September. The clinic allowed a staff member, who only had an assistant's qualification, to perform the filling procedure on me independently. This was concerning as assistants are typically only permitted to assist under the supervision of a licensed dentist. However, in my case, the qualified dentist left for over an hour to attend to another patient, leaving the assistant to manage alone. The procedure involved repeated adjustments to the filling material, but the shape was never quite right. Eventually, the main dentist returned and made some modifications, but the outcome was still disappointing. To this day, I experience pain when chewing meat or harder foods with the filled tooth. Before leaving IN, I sought a repair for the issue, but it was not resolved. The assistant in question is the second from the left in the back row of the clinic's group photo. It's evident that her skills were not adequate to perform the procedure on a patient alone. I believe that the assistant's multiple failed adjustments during the procedure damaged my tooth, resulting in an inability to chew hard objects with the treated tooth to this day. This experience at Klondike Dental Care has scaused serious damage to my dental health and daily life. I hope my feedback helps others make informed decisions about their dental care.
