This review is a little long but well worth the read if you are researching for a Landscape project. We finally completed our backyard project with Green Light Lawncare which utilized almost every facet of their business. There were many incidents and concerns which popped up during this 5 month project but I will cite the major ones. The only GREEN light in our experience, was the lawncare service. Greg is knowledgeable, easy to talk to and responds very quickly with service. YELLOW light: Beware of their proposals! Print each proposal and date it as if any part of the proposal is revised, the proposal is replaced with the most recent with the initial date. As a result, you can not compare the proposals and prices change even when there was no change to the job. Change orders that take place during the project are not initialed or signed by the customer prior to invoice. Document EVERYTHING! even conversations! RED light: Landscape Design! Kevin has very limited knowledge and resources of plants and trees. He placed trees in areas which they will outgrow. At the time of planting, I specifically asked him if the trees are too big for that area and responded, No, they will be fine! After research I did on my own, the trees were in fact too big for that area and other areas as well. I requested that the trees be moved or replaced. I was told to trim them back. A great lack of integrity to step up and to do what is right. Grass seed was thrown into mulch beds and now there is grass growing in the beds. We will not do business with Green Light Lawncare. If you dont care and allow them to do whatever they propose at their cost, you will probably will not have this experience but what will your landscape look like in a year, two, three or five? I wish I had taken a before pic so you could see the 100% improvement. Chuck and Chino came, very knowledgeable and know how to do a proper clean up and trimming. Everything looks beautiful! It hasnt looked this good since we had it planted 10 yrs ago. I am so so pleased. I would recommend Green Light Lawn Care to anyone. We will be using them again in the Spring. The prices are fair, the work is 5/5 stars. Chuck and Chino are very polite, pleasant and know what they are doing. John & Kevin are fantastic. We've used them in our commercial spaces, as well as on our residential projects. Kevin does a great job of listening to your ideas, and then putting together a fabulous presentation with images and a list of plant species. They showed up when they said they would, and got the work done in a timely manner. Very, very happy with the outcome.
