room was smelling, carpet was not clean, poor hygiene but location is quite good. Noteworthy details: no additional facility, no service only a room with bad smell so not worthy to stay more than one night at a time.

Nothing fancy but works great if you're just looking to get a good night's sleep and a hot shower. The campus and downtown Lafayette is all within a quick walk. They are short staff so no breakfast but there is a McDonald's right across the street with six ordering kiosk, fast service even when busy. Nearby activities: The campus and Amtrak train station are within a 15-minute walk. Close to the Saturday morning Farmers market downtown. Walkability: Walking is very safe in this area. There's a pedestrian bridge and well designed crosswalks. Walking to campus from here is quicker than driving.

Did not have the chance to stay. Google has this listed as pet friendly, however, when you call they say no pets.....but they allow kids??? Kids are so loud and destructive!!! Would much rather stay next to someone with a dog versus a kid any day!!!
