If you are looking for an amazing family law attorney, no need to look any further. Karen was there for me throughout the whole case and responded to all my texts and emails promptly. Karen did not respond to emails or phone calls for several days on numerous occasions. She increased her charges by $50 per hour without informing me. I only found out when she sent me the final bill. She did lower the cost back down to her original fee, but made sure to tell me she didn't have to. She made a huge error in calculations when negotiating my divorce, which I discovered that. She was rude and spoke down to me many times until I stood up for myself. She finally backed down and began returning phone calls and emails promptly. If I hadn't already started the process I wanted it to be all over, I would have discontinued services.

I am so sorry to hear you feel this way. When I discovered that you did not have notice of my price increase, I made the adjustment quickly. I have not increased my hourly rate in many, many years and it was long overdue, however I never argued that you should have to pay the increase without notice. I do not believe that you should have to pay the higher rate under that circumstance, obviously. Based upon my experience, your settlement was more than favorable, and I actually believe that opposing counsel would agree, so I do not know what huge error in calculations you are referring to, and would welcome you to contact me with that information. I will admit that I do have a very heavy caseload and sometimes I cannot get back with people as quickly as I would like, or as quickly as they would like, but I do try to get back with them as soon as my schedule will allow. I do not recall being rude or speaking down to you, there were actually many of our communications that I recall fondly, but if you feel that way, then I apologize for whatever I did to make you feel that way.
