I have never been treated so badly by a cashier in my life. Today I went into the Dollar General and had coupons clipped on my Dollar General app where I tried to apply them when I checked out. They were coupons clearly marked at every product that I purchased . $15 worth did not apply and I was told by the cashier Kaitlyn that they did not have to validate those coupons. I asked politely could I please speak to a manager and was told I dont know what he is going to do. Were both new and dont know what were doing. While he was trying to help me Katelyn spoke up in the background and said Im about ready to walk out of here. The whole time I was polite and patient until she told him you dont have to validate any of her coupons. In which I said, is that what your store policy says? And she said yes and I said OK I will research it and print it out. I will bring it back to you and she said I will not read it so go ahead. She was very very rude and there were many customers that had to witnesses this. During the process I said I can step to the side and you could void my transaction to which I was told no by the manager that he will figure something out. Katelynn kept repeating herself and told the manager that he didnt have to do anything for me.

This store is 85% of the way stocked with everything that is listed on the shelves the prices are decent the grocery side is okay but with the way things are today I understand why most of the shelves are bare most of the cashiers are helpful but I do understand that they are stressed out because of understaffing I gave him five stars because no matter what whoever's there they will help you I suggest giving the store try
