I went to OrthoIndy urgent care after a knee injury and the doctor was incredibly rude and dismissive of my concerns. I asked for an MRI and he said if I sent everyone who came in with a knee injury to the MRI room, we wouldnt have any room in the MRI . He also told me its only been 12 hours since your injury and its not swollen enough to be an ACL. When I asked about why my knee gave out again after the injury he told me you have weak quads. WOW. He told me I just sprained my knee, to do PT and then see if it didnt get better. I went straight to Forte where I had a totally different and excellent experience. I got an MRI and guess what? FULL ACL Tear. Perhaps Dr Falender at OrthoIndy ought to listen to the patients when they have concerns instead of dismissing them.

We have used the OrthoIndy Urgent Care in Westfield on multiple occasions for orthopedic injuries (adult and pediatric). Top notch professionals, care, and overall experience. No need to waste precious time going to an emergency room or non-orthopedic urgent care who will just take a preliminary XR, apply a temporary wrap/splint, then send you into an orthopedic specialist the next day for needed care from a specialist. They can take care of everything in one trip, then schedule longer term follow up as needed with their excellent physicians. Ive been in healthcare for over 20 years and have no affiliation or personal relationship with OrthoIndy or their staff. Also, dont normally take time to write a review. Giving a well-earned 5-star rating with the highest recommendation. Would give them 10 stars if I could.
