Viseth I understand you are angry that you had to pay for missing your appointment according to my policy. However when I called you to see if you would be showing up to your session 5 minutes after it should have started you told me you weren’t coming because you were at your medical appointment. You didn't contact me to tell me you couldn’t make it or that you were on your way and you admitted you double booked your time and decided not to inform me via email when you became aware of the conflict weeks prior. While I respect that life happens and people get sick or need to cancel due to conflict there is a difference between emergency and neglect. This is why I have clients sign a copy of my policy as the first thing when coming in for their first session in addition to sending a copy with each of the two reminders (two days and day before) prior to your session. The policy I have in place is to protect my time and effort as well as the time of other clients. Had I known you were not coming in a timely manner someone else in need of massage could have had your session and there would have been no need to charge you. In the future please carefully read the policy papers presented to you as you sign them.
