I agree with Alicia. I really liked Dr. Michaels, but I dreaded having to call and deal with the receptionist to refill my cat's meds. Going in and picking them up was even worse. She was just so incredibly rude. Another issue I have with them is that Dr. Michaels' retired and they didn't bother sending postcards or anything to their clients. I have a cat who has to take meds for his stomach problem. It would have been nice to have known that they were closing so that I could have done a little research to find another vet to take over his care. I didn't find out until I went to pick up his last script and saw the sign on the door. The receptionist didn't even give me a recommendation. So now I'm left on my own to find a new vet to take over his care.

Great vet, my family has been taking out pets to Dr. Michaels for years and wouldn't take them anywhere else if we could help it. However the receptionist is very off-putting on the phone. When I was trying to make an appointment for my cat for get checked out because of a cat-fight, her tone of voice on the phone sounded like it was the worst thing in the world for her to have to take my call. I'm a receptionist at a hotel and I don't always want to answer the phone either, but it's really not that hard to sound like you care, even if you don't. I would recommend this pet-clinic, because the Vet is great, and that's what matter. Receptionist is rude, though.
