The Pour Bar: What a lovely Friday afternoon gift from my girlfriends! I am an amateur candler, and Stacy taught us SO much. The soft aromas and ambience in her store are intoxicating. We each crafted our perfect candle. And did a little boutique shopping on the side! Highly HIGHLY recommended! ps. Soy wax only :-)

I lovvvvvvvvvvvve this shop. The character of the building itself is beautiful and welcoming. Its a candle shop, so of course it smell amazing. Its clean, well kept, which can be tricky with having so much different inventory (because its so much more than just candles!!). I have gifted so many people her candles, and with more and more people taking notices of toxins in their homes, its a peace of mind there too. Ive done the pour bar here with a group of my family members, and its a super fun experience to do together and then you get the amazing party favor. Ive had a great experience with any and all employees from day one of opening- but the shop owner is just GOOD PEOPLE. The kind that feels like home and not the ones that are pushy or a feeling that making sales is the only priority. This is even the case when seeing Oak Lane at events/markets like the DSM Farmers Market. GO, go find your treasures at Oak Lane nowwww! (Also, I love rocking their merch.)

These candles are the best - the wide variety of aromas available is fantastic and the fact theyre all handmade is fun. I love supporting small!! Highly recommend.
