        Everything and everyone was great and respectful...until the delivery.. the driver was rude and ate in the car leaving the seat and center console with donut crumbs and frosting all over never did he try to clean it up...we stated our thoughts on that to the sales person with no response..guess they got what they wanted our check..

        Purchased a 2023 Renegade at Deery of Ames the other day and it was definitely one of the better dealer experiences I've had. I came in to look at a specific vehicle, and my salesman Glenn was great in explaining all the details. Prior to coming in, I checked similar models at dealerships within 200 miles and found Deery's prices to be very competitive. Fees were also very minimal, aside from the mandatory reg and tax fees imposed by the state of Iowa. Their finance department was also able to find me an interest rate about half a point less than my CU is offering right now. I'm happy with what I paid for the car, happy with the forever powertrain warranty offered by Deery for no charge, and happy with the relatively low-pressure environment. Last time I was looking at a new car, I lived in CA - the predatory nature of those dealerships genuinely drove me to buy used. If their service department is as good as their sales (I will update), I'll definitely be a repeat customer at Deery of Ames.
